The City of New Smyrna Beach will be hosting a public meeting to discuss known issues in the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) along with possible mitigation solutions.
Specific known challenges the City hopes to address include the following, which will be further reviewed at the public meeting:
The City encourages attendance by all residents willing to provide helpful insight to this overall environmental mission for the betterment of the City of New Smyrna Beach.
The outcome of this public meeting will be presented to the City Commission at the Regular City Commission Meeting scheduled for August 13, 2019 at 6:30 pm.
Two or more Commissioners may be present at this meeting.
Pursuant to Florida Statutes 286.0105, if an individual decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, a record of the proceedings will be required and the individual will need to ensure that a verbatim transcript of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based. Such person must provide a method for recording the proceedings.
