Zone 2 Commissioner Jake Sachs will host the third of five New Smyrna Beach City Commission Town Halls planned for this year at the Brannon Center (105 S Riverside Drive) on Thursday, June 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
This Town Hall marks the midpoint in a series of five Town Halls scheduled in 2019. Mayor Russ Owen hosted the first at the Alonzo “Babe” James Community Center on February 18 and Zone 1 Commissioner Michael Kolody hosted the second at the Coronado Civic Center on April 5. Going forward, Zone 3 Commissioner Jason McGuirk and Vice Mayor/Zone 4 Commissioner Randy Hartman respectively plan to host Town Halls in September and November as the City of New Smyrna Beach continues to make citizen involvement a priority in 2019.
New Smyrna Beach’s Zone 2 generally covers the southeast quadrant of the City, to include areas south of 3rd Avenue to the City limit on beachside, neighborhoods east of the railroad tracks from Ronnoc Lane to 10th Street on the mainland, and educational assets including Read-Pattillo Elementary School, Coronado Beach Elementary School, New Smyrna Beach Middle School, and New Smyrna Beach High School.
Please visit the City of New Smyrna Beach’s official website at www.cityofnsb.com or call the Brannon Center at (386) 410-2880 for more information.
Note: One or more City Commissioners may be present at this Town Hall.
