The City of New Smyrna Beach Engineering Department will host a public meeting to address resident concerns about speeding along South Riverside Drive from Andrews Street to 5th Street on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. in the Brannon Center at 105 S. Riverside Dr.
As the outcome of this study could potentially impact South Riverside Drive and its surrounding roadway system, residents are strongly encouraged to attend. City engineers will provide an overview of the Traffic Calming Program Handbook adopted by the City Commission last September, evaluate options for safe and efficient pedestrian and vehicular movement, and request feedback and ideas.
