TURNBULL CREEK COMMITTEE

January 1, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

In 2018, over 75% of voters in NSB approved authorizing the City Commission to issue up to $15,000,000 in general obligation bonds to preserve water quality, wildlife habitat, and natural areas along Turnbull Creek.

To date, 151.28 acres have been acquired and rezoned for conservation at a purchase price of $8,942,000, of which $3,577,000 has been refunded to the city through a Florida Communities Trust grant.

On Monday, March 8 at 3 p.m. in the Brannon Center at 105 S. Riverside Dr., the Turnbull Creek Land Preservation Committee meet. This meeting is open to the public and participation is encouraged! Please visit https://bit.ly/33i1cXD to review the agenda packet (706 pages), which includes due diligence documents such as updated boundary surveys, environmental site assessments, wetland & tree surveys, and more.
