Our venue rental is available for any 8 hour time slot during our operating hours of 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with additional hours available for $325/hour. Please select your event duration below.

Terms and Conditions

The Brannon Center is the premier corporate and social venue for Central Florida. The Brannon Center rental options include the Indian River Ballroom, Park View, and River View rooms. Monday through Thursday, all rooms are available separately, or for larger events, these spaces may be combined. Friday through Sunday, only the entire building is available to rent. Maximum capacity is 400.

Performance Guarantee Deposit & Cancellation

A refundable performance guarantee deposit is required to schedule an event and secure the date. Deposits are in addition to the rental fee, and when submitted, are deposited into the City’s General Fund. Deposits are returned via City check, up to six (6) weeks following the event. Deductions may be made for damage, excessive cleaning, or time used beyond the contracted period.

Events are only reserved when the Facility Use Agreement is completed, signed, and returned along with the deposit. We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks. No dates are reserved without payment.

Cancellation policy is as follows:

0 - 3 months prior to event - no refunds on payments, no refund of deposit. All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Catered Events

The Brannon Center requires that you select a caterer and or bartender from the current Exclusive Caterer/Bartender list provided to you upon confirmation. Each caterer and bartender have been vetted by the City of New Smyrna Beach and retain all required insurance and Florida licensing.

Non-Catered Events

Kitchen facilities are available only to the caterers although the licensee may bring in and serve simple or prepared food items Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm only. The following are examples of simple or prepared food items: breakfast pastries & boxed lunches. No heating elements are permitted. The licensee is responsible for clean-up; all of which must occur during the rental period. Center staff must be informed at the time of this contract if you plan to serve any non-catered food.

Alcoholic Beverage Policy

The Brannon Center does not hold a liquor license. All alcoholic beverages must be served via chosen Exclusive Caterer or Bartender. Please contact your chosen Exclusive Caterer/Bartender to learn their policies and procedures regarding alcohol service.

Licensee/renter is required to submit a floorplan and agenda with all vendor contact information no less than thirty (30) days before the event. (Final guest count may be updated no less than 7 days before the event.) Center staff will set up all Center equipment being used.

Rental times MUST INCLUDE all set-up and breakdown of the event. All guests and vendors must vacate the building by the end of the rental period. This includes caterers, DJs, bands, rental services, etc. NO EXCEPTIONS

Licensee/renter is responsible for all vendors hired for their event and will coordinate any set up by outside vendors with Center staff.

If a planner or coordinator is being used please ask them to contact Center staff as soon as possible to review the terms and conditions of renting the Brannon Center (but you should share this information with them as well).

PROHIBITED: Decorations on Center walls, ceilings, windows inside the venue or outside including the dock railings. This includes tape, tacks, staples, Command™ strips, etc.

COMPLIANCE WITH NOISE ORDINANCE 38-72: It shall be unlawful for any person to make, continue, or cause to be made or continued any unreasonably loud, excessive, unnecessary, or unusual noise after 10:00 pm. Music must be turned down at this time.

The rental facility must be returned to the condition it was provided to the licensee. Tables and chairs must be cleared of all debris. All equipment and materials that are not Center property must be removed. The Center is not responsible for any materials left behind. Waste and all paper products must be placed in the dumpster.

Rules, Regulations and Policies

It is understood that the Licensee will be responsible for the building and/or grounds to be in good condition upon leaving and that all damage must be reported to the Brannon Center Staff immediately. It is also understood that the Licensee is responsible for payment of all scheduled dates in advance. The Brannon Center Staff must be notified in advance of all cancellations, with the Deposit & Cancellation provisions of the Brannon Center Terms and Conditions governing refunds of deposits.

In consideration of the privilege herein granted, Licensee will not claim any damages from Licensor in connection with or on account of any injuries or damages arising in or on the above-described property while being used by the Licensee and Licensee's members, guests, or invitees.
