The Brannon Center is the premier corporate and social venue for Central Florida. The Brannon Center rental options include the Indian River Ballroom, Park View, and River View rooms. Monday through Thursday, all rooms are available separately, or for larger events, these spaces may be combined. Friday through Sunday, only the entire building is available to rent. Maximum capacity is 400.
A refundable performance guarantee deposit is required to schedule an event and secure the date. Deposits are in addition to the rental fee, and when submitted, are deposited into the City’s General Fund. Deposits are returned via City check, up to six (6) weeks following the event. Deductions may be made for damage, excessive cleaning, or time used beyond the contracted period.
Events are only reserved when the Facility Use Agreement is completed, signed, and returned along with the deposit. We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks. No dates are reserved without payment.
Cancellation policy is as follows: 6 - 12 months prior to event - deposit refunded and 100% refund on any payments made.
The Brannon Center offers a wide selection of Preferred Caterers for you to choose from. These caterers have been vetted by the City of New Smyrna Beach and have successfully partnered with the Center. Staff will provide you with a current list of Preferred Caterers.
Kitchen facilities are available only to the caterers although the licensee may bring in and serve simple or prepared food items Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm only. The following are examples of simple or prepared food items: breakfast pastries & boxed lunches. No heating elements are permitted. The licensee is responsible for clean-up; all of which must occur during the rental period. Center staff must be informed at the time of this contract if you plan to serve any non-catered food.
The Brannon Center does not hold a liquor license. All alcoholic beverages must be served via your chosen caterer or licensed bartending service. Please contact your chosen caterer to learn their policies and procedures regarding alcohol service. If you have additional questions, please ask Center staff as soon as possible.
It is understood that the Licensee will be responsible for the building and/or grounds to be in good condition upon leaving and that all damage must be reported to the Brannon Center Staff immediately. It is also understood that the Licensee is responsible for payment of all scheduled dates in advance. The Brannon Center Staff must be notified in advance of all cancellations, with the Deposit & Cancellation provisions of the Brannon Center Terms and Conditions governing refunds of deposits.
In consideration of the privilege herein granted, Licensee will not claim any damages from Licensor in connection with or on account of any injuries or damages arising in or on the above-described property while being used by the Licensee and Licensee's members, guests, or invitees.
